Moroccan businesses can join a shared rewards network such as tookeez, reward card payments through bank campaigns such as Fid'You with CMI, or run their own branded program. TheCoins gives you your own loyalty, Apple Wallet card, online store and ordering in French, Arabic and English, from about 780 dirhams a month.
This guide is written by TheCoins, which is one of the options below. We list only options we could confirm from public sources, and we say when another option fits better.
Three ways to reward customers in Morocco
| Option | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Shared rewards network | Customers collect points in one wallet and spend them across many partner brands, as with tookeez | Brands that want to join a wider network |
| Card-payment rewards | Banks and payment networks reward card payments, as with the Fid'You campaign run with CMI | Merchants who want rewards without running a program |
| Your own branded program | Points, stamps or cashback under your name, on your store, app and wallet card | Restaurants, cafés and shops that want to keep the customer relationship |
Why run your own program
A shared network brings visibility, but the customer collects the network's points and sees many brands. Your own program keeps the customer's phone number, visit history and points with you, so you can invite regulars back with a message when they have not visited for a while.
Selling online in Morocco
Moroccan merchants use international store builders such as Shopify and WooCommerce as well as local ones such as YouCan. If you already have a store, check whether your loyalty tool connects to it. If you are starting, a platform that combines store, ordering and loyalty saves you from syncing customers between tools.
What TheCoins costs in dirhams
| Plan | Price in USD | About in MAD |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $79 a month | about 780 MAD |
| Growth | $199 a month | about 1,950 MAD |
| Pro | $349 a month | about 3,430 MAD |
Plans are billed in US dollars; the dirham figures use the exchange rate of 23 October 2026 (1 USD = 9.82 MAD) and will move with the rate. There is no commission on orders.
What to check before you choose
- Is the customer screen available in French and Arabic?
- Can customers join without downloading an app, for example with a wallet card or a QR code?
- Do points work the same in your shop, online and in your app?
- Does it work with the payment gateway you already use? Tell us yours and we will confirm.
- Who supports you, in which language and time zone?
